Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be emailed a link through which you can install your client software. The installer will do all the hard work for you to install an application that’s really not hard to understand.
Using Your WiTopia Service
In essence, if your VPN icon is green, it’s connected. If it’s red, your VPN is off. When it’s connected, it will tell you which server it’s connected to. WiTopia does require you to choose your server every time you log on to the internet, which can be handy if you want a reminder to change locations and enhance your anonymity, but a pain in the proverbial if you’re happy with just the one. It also works through a client, which means that you can’t access your VPN through the internet and can’t use the service on more than one computer at the same time. You can install the client on different machines, but you can only use it on one of them at a time with a single account.
